Example of Mechanical Brackets for installing the
the UJ-811B Laptop DVD-CD Drive.

Existing parts on your existing UJ-811B drive can be used for installing and mounting
the drive onto your portable PC.

Different Laptop models have different Mechanical mounting for the PANASONIC UJ-811B UJ811B DVD CD Drive.
An example of the mechanical Mounting Bracket, Electronic-Connector-Adaptor and BackPlate for mounting
and installing your UJ-811-B onto your Laptop is shown in the picture below:

Notes on Installating and Mounting the Laptop Drive :

1. The Existing Mounting Partson your existing UJ-811B Laptop Drive can be easily disassembled.
Unscrew the Fastening SCREWS from the existing Mechanical Mounts on your existing Laptop Drive, using the appropiate screwdriver type and size so as not to damage the screw threads.
BUYER should be able and have the skill to dismantle the existing mounting bracket and mounting parts' on the Buyer’s existing Laptop Drive for use on the NEW Bare drive if purchased.

2. Detach existing Electroinic Signal-Connector-Adapter if any, at the back of your existing Laptop drive to be used on the New Laptop Drive.
Care should be taken by the BUYER when mounting this Signal Connector and the Brackets as not to cause physical or electrical damage / electrical-SHORT during the mechanical mounting.
Make sure the Electroinic Signal-Connector-Adapter's exposed Conductor-tracks, when remounted sits on the PLASTIC or NON-Conducting part of the Bracket and NOT sit on the METAL bracket.

3. The Laptop Drive offered for sale does NOT include any mechanical mounting brackets
for installing the drive onto your laptop.
Existing parts on your present UJ-811B drive can be used for mounting and installing the BARE Laptop Drive onto your Laptop.
